This is just a quick up-date regarding admin support; more details to follow soon.  Expect a Welcome e-mail for new second floor admin mid-January.

All,

We want to provide another up-date and share where we are with faculty administrative support and business operation staff.

First, thanks to our current administrative staff and Katie Ferrell for covering and keeping business moving!  Many of our now current admin staff are fairly new and they are doing a fabulous job.  We truly appreciate everyone dedication and efforts to the department.

Melanie Holbert started in October and is acclimating to her new role.

Erin Bauder's position has been difficult to re-fill (for many reasons); we are happy to report the college has just approved a new posting for a regular full time position this week.  In the meantime, Tanya continues to fill in for Erin with help from Katie Ferrell and others.  We are also investigating other options for additional temporary help (can't promise anything).  Lori Arnold is available for monitoring and helping with OSP items. An up-dated Faculty and Admin Support chart is attached.

First, to Thanks our current administrative staff, Katie Ferrell, and Brett Gregory for covering and keeping business moving!

Ruth Leonard started as Assistant to the Chair on July 17th, she continues to support her faculty group(s), while we work with the college to post for her replacement.

The replacements for the Amanda Ponomarenko, Kyle Schechter, and Emileigh Beatty positions are filled and new staff start in August!

*         Drew Hack started August 1st, with NSL; replacing Amanda Ponomarenko position.

*         Genie Bragg starts August 12th, ; replacing Kyle Schechter's group and Eric's group(s).

*         Jessica Middleton starts August 19th, new position of iOS Office Administrator with Lou DiMauro

*         Crystal Moloney starts August 5th, as our new Bridge & Diversity Coordinator; replaces Emileigh Beatty position as a Program Assistant

With the approach of a new University system, Enterprise Project/Workday (link below), we are providing details to the college regarding our staffing needs; the replacement position for Erin and Eric continue to be reviewed. While the review process continues Genie Bragg will cover the Kyle Schechter's group and Eric Robbins's group(s). Erin Bauder's group should e-mail Physics Business Operations PhysicsBusinessOperations at osu.edu<mailto:PhysicsBusinessOperations at osu.edu> or contact anyone in the Business Front Office, so we can evaluate how best to complete or distribute the task(s) and monitor workloads.  We will respond to your e-mail(s) sent to  Physics Business Operations and include the staff person helping with your request. An up-dated Faculty and Admin Support chart is attached.
