Bucks For Charity 2017 - Make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Greetings.

Bucks for charity is going strong!

Through November 30th, support the community by donating to causes important to you, such as food security, health services, animal welfare, education, advocacy programs or environment.

What your dollar does to make a difference:

$2 per pay:

  *   purchases 1 year of school supplies for a child in need
  *   buys 10 weeks of lunches for a homeless person
  *   pays for 25 bags of groceries for low income families
  *   supplies diabetes risk tests for 500 individuals
  *   provides 4 trips to medical appointments for a person who cannot transport himself/herself

$4 per pay:

  *   buys art supplies for 50 low income teens for after school programs
  *   provides 3 hours of respite care for a cancer patient
  *   pays for 3 flu shots for uninsured seniors
  *   purchases 1 month of emergency food for a family of 4
  *   pays for a cleft lip/palate surgery
  *   provides 1,000 tree seedlings and planting equipment for a community
  *   buys 200 lbs. of dog food for an animal shelter
  *   purchases goats or chickens to supplement livelihood for a family

$5 per pay ($130.00 annual gift):

  *   plants more than 200 cedar trees for a habitat restoration project
  *   provides free books and literacy resources to one child for an entire year
  *   pays for information booklets for new and expectant parents of a child with Down Syndrome

$10 per pay:

  *   provides 7 months of medical care for a low-income patient
  *   purchases 15 cases of nutritional supplements for HIV and AIDS patients
  *   buys shoes for 8 middle-school or high-school students in need
  *   pays for 1 year of blood sugar test strips for a diabetic person in need
  *   supplies an electronic monitoring kit for an individual with Alzheimer's Disease
