On November 21st, Gordon passed away of cholangiocarcinoma at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was at peace and without pain.  He had, following his wishes, a green burial at the Kokosing Nature Preserve at Kenyon College.

Attached are an invitation to his memorial service on February 18th in Delaware, Ohio, and a form for donations to the Ohio State fund naming the new physics laboratory at the Marion Campus, after him.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

If you have any photographs in digital format that might be used for the memorial, please forward them to Laurie Wessely at lbwessely at gmail.com<mailto:lbwessely at gmail.com>.  You can also reach out to Laurie at the same email if you would like to speak at the memorial service or cannot attend but would like to record your thoughts and upload them to YouTube.
