Campus Campaign 2016 - Please read

Campus Campaign 2016 is winding down this week and we need those of you who have never given to Campus Campaign or haven't donated in the last calendar year to decide that this is the year that you jump in the pool!  The success of Campus Campaign is measured by the percentage of participation.  This year our participation rate is flat.  Help us increase our participation rate and make a difference by connecting the dots.

Did you enjoy the picnic today? - the picnic itself  and the Distinguished Staff Awards would not be possible without the Chair's discretionary fund (302325).  In addition, this fund provides the Winter Party, the Faculty Holiday reception and numerous retirement receptions and award recognition receptions.

Were you pleased to see our graduate TAs and other graduate students receiving awards? - donations to the funds that provide these awards will enable us to continue to provide them in the future - Bunny and Thomas Clark Scholarship Fund (661080), Clifford Heer Graduate Scholarship (664159), and The William R. Riley "Excellence in Teaching Physics" Award (313519).  OR - check out the following list of funds in Physics at; http://physics.osu.edu/physics-development-funds.

Seriously consider how you can "connect the dots" within the department of physics and beyond by exploring these and other giving opportunities.  Gifts as small as $1 are accepted.  Payroll deduction amounts as small as $1 per pay are also accepted.  The generosity of our faculty and staff sustain many of these funds.

Participation is easy - just go to https://www.osu.edu/giving/philanthropy-programs/campuscampaign/about-campus-campaign.html and click on the red box to give online or download a gift form and mail it in or bring it to me and I'll deliver it in person to Advancement.

Help the Department of Physics and the College of Arts and Sciences increase our giving percentage by making a donation of any size to an area on campus that interests you.

And THANKS to those of you who have already made a pledge or donation.  Your continued generosity is appreciated in ways you will never know.
