Physics Windows file services unavailable tonight, 6PM to 6:45PM - emergency maintenance

Physics Windows file services will be unavailable tonight starting at 6PM and lasting until approximately 6:45PM due to emergency maintenance. Please log out from your Physics Windows computers prior to 6PM to ensure that your files are properly saved. This will affect Physics Windows home directories as well as instructional, research, and administrative shares served from PHYPCS, making them unavailable during the outage.

The emergency maintenance is required to restore file directories that have gone missing, as well as to apply a critical system patch. We regret the inconvenience and will keep the outage to a minimum.
