Hello Faculty and Staff,
Below are a few human resources updates and reminders for February.
HR Updates:
Check Out the New YP4H Website on Monday (2/25)
On Monday, February 25, the new Your Plan for Health (YP4H) website will be unveiled. The new site - yp4h.osu.edu<http://yp4h.osu.edu/> - is easier to use, rewards you for taking steps to improve your well-being, makes it easier to share information with your care providers, and adds a fun factor. In addition, a new incentive program will engage you on an ongoing basis by offering rewards for continual steps toward better health. Questions? Contact the YP4H team at yp4h at hr.osu.edu<mailto:yp4h at hr.osu.edu>, or 292-1050.
Biometric Health Screenings for Arts and Sciences Faculty and Staff
Monday, February 25, is reserved for arts and sciences faculty and staff biometric screenings, 7:30 am-4 pm in 2174 Derby Hall. Log on to Your Plan For Health<http://yp4h.osu.edu/>, under YP4H Resources, click on Biometric Health Campus Screenings and enter the date: 2/25/13.
New Flexible Spending Account features roll out in April
Beginning in April, our Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) will be managed by TASC, a leading vendor in FSA administration. The change offers exciting new features, including direct deposit reimbursements, online claims filing, 24-hour customer service, and a Health Care Flex Card debit MasterCard that can be used to pay for eligible medical expenses upfront.
Faculty and staff currently enrolled in a FSA will receive more information via e-mail sent to their Ohio State mailbox and an introductory packet mailed to their home address. Details also will be posted online the end of March. (Faculty and staff not currently enrolled can enroll during 2014 open enrollment, or sooner if they experience a qualifying life event.) Questions about the new features of FSAs? Contact OHR Customer Service at 292-1050 or service at hr.osu.edu<mailto:service at hr.osu.edu>.
Reminders:
Bi-Weekly Timesheets for Pay Period 18 are due on Monday (2/25) at 10:00AM.
* Employees should submit hours worked for each week before leaving on the last day of that work week or before 10:00 am on Monday morning.
* Student Employees with zero hours worked are required to submit their timesheets. This is an audit risk. Please remind your student workers to start doing this. I will send reminders to both the students and supervisors as well.
* Supervisors should approve each week at the latest before 12:00 noon Monday so your employee does not have to wait until the following pay period.
