Thanks to all who helped with the Physics Winter Party

To all,

The Physics Mad Men themed Winter Party held February 1 in the PRB Atrium was a great success thanks to the many students and staff that helped to make it so.  A big thanks to those participating on the planning committee:  Robin Patterson, Becky Daskalova, Kris Dunlap, Bryan Dunlap, Brian Keller, Laura Heyeck, Rachel Page, Michelle Mc Combs.  Thanks also to Terry Bradley, Kris Dunlap, Michelle McCombs, Shelley Palmer and Robin Patterson for bartending.  A big thanks to the graduate students for helping with set up and decorations and to the SPS undergraduates for clean-up.  Thanks to John Langkals for help with audio/visuals (and for opening the champagne!!)  I have probably missed someone, so if you had anything to do with the party, please know that your efforts were appreciated by all.

It was great fun to see that many folks embraced the theme and dressed accordingly.  The winners for best dressed were Anastasia Lawson and Stanley Steers.  Many of the staff and faculty remarked with nostalgia over the table decorations and retro candy.  Well done.
