[ALERT] Quarterly Maintenance Dates for 2014 and Important Construction Updates

Planned Outage Dates for Quarterly Preventive Maintenance Activities for calendar year 2014 are as follows:

Q01-2014:  Wednesday, January 8th

Q02-2014:  Wednesday, April 9th

Q03-2014:  Wednesday, July 9th

Q04-2014:  Wednesday, October 8th

Construction Updates for calendar year 2014 are as follows:

AIR-3R Project:
-  Work substantially completed during weekend outages as planned.
-  New humidity systems installed but not yet in service.
-  Start-up and commissioning of humidity systems to begin next week.
-  Occupants should anticipate a ramp-up in humidity as the new systems come online.

ECM Project:
-  Design submitted for review and approval by University with some project approvals now complete.
-  Power quality investigations related to variable frequency drives now underway.
-  Work in individual labs to be scheduled with first modifications in labs beginning in early '14.
-  Lab Occupants are encouraged to review the technical details of the new design at the ECM Project page.
-  One-on-one design review sessions are being offered by the department to any parties interested in a deeper explanation of the ECM project - contact a facility team member to schedule a session.
