Graduation Reception for Becky Rosenblatt, Monday, May 21st, 12:30PM in PRB1136

Hello everyone,

The graduation reception for Becky Rosenblatt will be held on Monday, 
May 21st at 12:30PM in PRB1136.  Pizza will be provided.

Becky's adviser is Andrew Heckler, and her thesis work is on identifying 
and addressing student difficulties in physics and materials science and 
engineering. Specifically, she worked doing test design on a test of 
student understanding of the directional relationships between net 
force, velocity, and acceleration and a concept evaluation for the 
materials science course. Also, she designed tutorials, concept oriented 
group-work worksheets for use in recitations in the materials science 
course.
