    Hello everyone,<br>

    The graduation reception for Becky Rosenblatt will be held on

    Monday, May 21st at 12:30PM in PRB1136.  Pizza will be provided.  <br>

    <br>

    Becky's adviser is Andrew Heckler, and her thesis work is on

    identifying and addressing student difficulties in physics and

    materials science and engineering. Specifically, she worked doing

    test design on a test of student understanding of the directional

    relationships between net force, velocity, and acceleration and a

    concept evaluation for the materials science course. Also, she

    designed tutorials, concept oriented group-work worksheets for use

    in recitations in the materials science course. <br>
