Performance Management: Mid-Year Touch Base - Due Jan. 2013

Hello Physics Staff and Supervisors,

The Office of Human Resources and the college ask that we complete mid-year touch base sessions with all department staff to assist with the Annual Merit and Compensation Process (AMCP). Generally these are completed in the fall; however we are a bit behind.

Supervisors please coordinate to meet with your staff (approximately 30-60 minutes) to complete the attached, one page ASC 2012-2013 Mid-Year Touch Base form. The form will need to be reviewed and signed by both the staff member and the supervisor. Once completed please return the document to directly me no later than January 25, 2013.

The mid-year touch base and continuous coaching sessions are to everyone's benefit. This face to face meeting gives supervisors a chance to review their staff's goals and behaviors to make sure everyone is on the same page. It also gives staff a chance to evaluate and communicate their performance goals for the AMCP year, thus far.
