Dear Department,

The voting for the next Chair of the Department of Physics closed on Monday, and there was overwhelming support from the faculty, staff, and graduate students for his appointment.
Based on this clear support, the Search Committee will recommend the appointment of Ralf Bundschuh to the Divisional Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
