Reminders:
· Every 3rd Tuesday of each month we release software patches to ASC machines. Please ensure your device is on and IF prompted – restart as soon as possible!
o Notes:
§ Critical security patches may be released outside of this patch schedule due to urgency/time sensitivity.
§ You may experience a couple restarts as some updates may require multiple restarts.

o The CrowdStrike Falcon On-Demand Scan (ODS) is an endpoint security feature designed to identify suspicious / malicious files using automatic and manual scans of local file systems (including USB storage devices). Currently this feature is only available for Windows devices. Scans will automatically occur when a USB storage device is connected and scans can also be started on a device by the user, through the right-click menu.
o Always On VPN (AOVPN) for University Windows devices. You may not have to worry about Cisco AnyConnect:

· Teams vs OneDrive | Did you know that you can share files from Teams? And that Teams is preferred for sharing to a group of people?
o Share from OneDrive or in a Teams chat for 1:1 file sharing, but for larger groups, use Teams.
