Gratitude to Tanya Ash and Keith Emptage

Hello,


I’m writing to share the news that Tanya Ash recently accepted a position as a fiscal officer in the Anesthesiology Department within the OSU College of Medicine.  This is an exciting opportunity for her because it will give her greater managerial and fiscal responsibilities, but she will certainly be missed within our department. Tanya's professionalism, ability, diligence, and kindness have made her an asset to our unit, and I am thankful I had the opportunity to work with her. Tanya's last in Physics will be Friday, August 13, 2021.


Keith Emptage recently retired but he requested no fanfare and no notice be sent out prior to his last day in the department. Keith was with OSU for over 30 years and his historical knowledge, experience, and contributions to the department will be missed.


Please join me in wishing Tanya and Keith well in their future endeavors.


We anticipate hiring two fiscal officers to fill their vacancies and I am working closely with ASC to get these positions posted and filled. I will provide more details soon about the transition.
