Hi all,
TeV Particle Astrophysics (TeVPA) is a major international conference, with ~ 300 participants and lots of exciting results and discussion. TeVPA covers the intersection of astrophysics, particle physics, and cosmology, loosely organized around TeV-scale physics, but branching into many areas. In August, CCAPP will host TeVPA 2017 in downtown Columbus.
The web page is https://tevpa2017.osu.edu (more details at https://indico.cern.ch/event/615891/overview).
We encourage participation from locals, including those in collider physics, nuclear physics, astronomy, and more to broaden and enrich the content of the program. And we encourage people, especially postdocs and graduate students, to submit talk abstracts.
Registration is initially an expression of interest; same with submitting a talk abstract. Paying for registration is done separately and can be done a bit later. For OSU people, instead of paying for registration with your credit card and asking for reimbursement, ask your admin to arrange a funds transfer (contact Lisa Colarosa, colarosa.5 at osu.edu<mailto:colarosa.5 at osu.edu>, for details). Much easier for them and you.
This is an excellent opportunity to show off our great Physics and Astronomy departments to the world. We hope you join us.
Best regards,
John
for the TeVPA 2017 organizers (led by CCAPP Fellows Katie Auchettl, Mauricio Bustamante, and Tim Linden, and assisted by Jim Beatty, Annika Peter, Lisa Colarosa, and me)
