Recently, a security vulnerability was discovered in ActiveX components installed with National Instruments software. NI has created updates to eliminate the vulnerability. All users of NI software should install one or more of the updates.

Action Required
You have received this notification because our records indicate that you have purchased an NI software package or an NI hardware product that includes NI software. To install the updates that are required for your system, take one of the following actions:

  *   For systems with NI Update Service installed, launch NI Update Service from the Windows Start menu. Download and install all the “NI Security Updates” that NI Update Service recommends, if you have not done so already.
  *   For offline systems or systems without NI Update Service, click here<http://app.demand.ni.com/e/er?espuid=CNATL000000022255&s=639&lid=68793&elq=8624e76701f44593b705e74d86550f9a> and follow the instructions for downloading and running the NI Security Update Tool Q2 2013.
