[NEWS] Custodial crews working in PRB to wax hallways

Annual floor waxing efforts are currently underway on second shift by FOD work crews in hallways throughout the PRB.

Workers will attempt to coordinate with occupants before isolating sections of the building where waxing is underway.

FOD advises that wax is applied in multiple layers with drying times between layers in the range of 45 minutes. Surfaces that are walked on without sufficient drying times will hold visible foot prints.

To aid the work crews in achieving the desired floor treatment results, FOD and the Department kindly ask building occupants to avoid passing through barricades related to this floor waxing effort as much as practical and possible.
