[Ogen] Reminder! Request for Mancozeb Comment Period

This is a reminder about the proposed EPA changes that would cancel the use of mancozeb labelling for all grape use, in addition to numerous other restrictions outlined by the EPA's Proposed Interim Decision<https://ohiograpeweb.cfaes.ohio-state.edu/blog/august-5-2024-711pm/mancozeb-proposed-interim-registration-review-decision-crop-cancellations>.

This should be perceived as a major, pressing issue for Ohio grape producers, since mancozeb is extensively used for early-season Phomopsis, black rot, and downy mildew control. The way to respond to the proposed changes is through individual and collective voicing of comments through the EPA website<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.regulations.gov/docket/EPA-HQ-OPP-2015-0291/document__;!!KGKeukY!3rLsy0w67zBUsQUFoDZXMXG4uLX-jZT33GLg9oxyOqzzZBrED0njwiDNailh1nq2Eqa6lZQj0iEzw5Y0DWztMFY1JaCeRxlT$> using the comment section for "Pesticide Registration Review: Proposed Decisions for Several Pesticides". The current deadline for comment submission is September 16, 2024. We encourage commenting prior to the deadline because there is no guarantee that it will be extended.
