[OACRAO] Senior Guest Program

Good afternoon!

For our Senior Guest Program (age 60 and over), there is normally a 5 day window when the registration form is available for these students.
The students are admitted and coded a certain way by our office. We register them for courses (audited) that are approved by the instructor. The Office of Continuing Education and/or regional campus contacts reach out to instructors for approval.  Approved electronic forms completed by the students are signed off on by our program contacts and routed to our office. A hold is also placed on their record to avoid random registration. These students are not charged tuition but are responsible for other fees and books.

If you have a senior program, do these students register themselves online like regular students for any course (as appropriate) with available seats? Or does someone contact instructors for them for approval first and then they are added to the course(s) by staff?
