[OACRAO] Best Practice at Commencement

Hello,

To all that do not hand out live diplomas, how do you calculate latin
honors for students at the ceremony? Our final grades for all students are
not due until Monday, May 8 at 11:59pm. Our commencement is always held the
Saturday prior. We have a few students that are really upset that they
won't receive Magna Cum Laude because their GPA we base latin honors on is
currently Cum Laude.

How do you handle the students who are on the gpa cusp for latin honors at
the ceremony? We've explained that their transcript and diploma will have
the final latin honors listed but they want the stole for pictures.
