[OACRAO] Degree Audit/Plan Approvals

Good morning,

I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am digging out of emails this morning.
I was curious what other schools' processes were for gaining student approvals of their degree audits / degree plans (if indeed you do that).  Does anyone collect signatures on a document?  Online forms?  Email approvals?  What components are necessary for the approval to be valid?
We currently collect and file an emailed approval statement from our students: "I understand and approve the attached degree audit".  It's inelegant and I'm not a fan.
Any input is much appreciated!
