[OACRAO] Making up seat time for weather related or other issues

Good Afternoon All,
At my previous institutions, we've had to make up any missed class days for weather, etc. based on strongly worded recommendations from our accreditor (SACS).  Has anyone ever gotten word from HLC that we need to make up time? We missed a day last week and I brought up make-up time in a meeting and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.  We will be short on contact hours without that day.  Didn't know if anyone had ever gotten clarification from HLC about situations such as these.  My people want to know how HLC feels about this before surprising everyone with make-up plans.
