[Mvapich] Announcing the release of OSU Micro-Benchmarks (OMB) 8.0rc

The MVAPICH team is pleased to announce the release of OSU
Micro-Benchmarks (OMB) 8.0rc.
The new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for OSU Micro-Benchmarks
(OMB) 8.0rc are listed here:
* New Features & Enhancements (since 7.5 series)
- Fully rebuilt benchmarks on common template files.
- Reduces variance between test code to facilitate easier
community contributions
- Allows for single point of change contributions
- Added unified OMB launcher for batch testing of pt2pt,
collective, and RMA tests
- Allows one-step run of some or all benchmarks of a given type
- Configurable behavior allows for faster comprehensive benchmarking
- Supports batch testing of some or all tests in a given category
- Reports test failures or incompatible arguments on exit
- Fully backwards compatible with existing scripts
- Full details for using the launcher available in README
- Added support for colored terminal output for enhanced visual output
* Bug Fixes (since 8.0b)
- Restored build compatibility with MPI implementations that do not
provide MPI-3 features.
- Fixed incorrect tail and graph metrics in one-sided benchmarks.
- Fixed hangs and incorrect communication in multi-threaded latency and
multiple-buffer congestion benchmarks.
- Fixed OpenACC point-to-point validation builds and accelerator barrier
buffer allocation.
- Fixed process shape detection causing exit before printing usage in some
benchmarks.
- Thanks to Ofir Michael @ NVIDIA for the report
- Fixed unrecognized -T arguments silently falling back to the default
datatype.
- Thanks to Ken Raffenetti @ Cornelis Networks for the report
- Improved launcher option validation, diagnostics, and repeated benchmark
execution.
- Disabled color output by default to prevent escape sequences in redirected
output. Color output can still be enabled at configure time or runtime.
- Improved validation for one-sided accumulate and atomic benchmarks.
- Fixed several build, installation, and memory management issues found
during beta testing.
