[Mvapich-discuss] MVAPICH2 NDR Patch

Hello all,

I have attached a patch for NDR support for MVAPICH2-2.3.7-1.

This is based off the first NDR patch. If we use only the first NDR patch, it falls back to the default HCA type, which results in bad performance on VMs with NDR NIC.

As a workaround, we've created the second patch (which builds on top of the first), where we force it to use HDR as the HCA type, which gives us the expected bandwidth of NDR NIC.

Note that the real NDR support is still needed for appropriate tuning.
