[MES Forum] Upcoming Forums & Lunch: Fuel Up for Finals and Spring Semester"

Faculty, Students and Staff Members of our Middle East Studies Forum, remember that we’re serving a generous lunch on reading day, December 11th<https://mesc.osu.edu/events/reading-day-read-and-feed-lunch-catered-lavash-1> in the space between Crane Café and the lecture hall in Hagerty. The idea is to help students stay fueled as they study. Faculty also take the opportunity to connect with students.

Next semester we have 3 forums planned:

  *   January 14, 2026 – 8:30 AM: Semester Kickoff Breakfast
  *   February 19, 2026 – 4:00 PM: Faculty and/or Graduate Student Presentations & Discussion
  *   March 9, 2026 – 2:30 PM: Alumni Voices

Soon we will make more event announcements related to our MCRME<https://u.osu.edu/mcrme/> project with the Melton Center for Jewish Studies and the Center for Ethics and Human Values, and the our next Arabic Calligraphy workshop.

Mark your calendars! Join us and connect with colleagues. Don’t miss the opportunity to see familiar faces and meet new members of our community.  We have some ideas for what’s in store at the forums and it’s sure to be awesome!
