A screening of A Fidai Film, organized by the student org Cinéseries, at the Wex tomorrow at 7:00pm:

A Fidai Film is the most recent work by Palestinian filmmaker Kamal Aljafari (The Roof, Port of Memory). Through an inventive and haunting manipulation of archival footage, Aljafari’s poetic and political film asks its audience to consider the lives of images and what can and cannot be saved from their intentional erasure. Join Cinéseries for this screening and stick around after for an informal conversation in the café outside the theater. In Arabic, English, and Hebrew with English subtitles. (80 mins., DCP).
