Dear MES Forum,

Muslims around the world celebrated the arrival of Eid al-Fitr yesterday, a festival that marks the end of fasting for Ramadan. Breaking fast with dates is part of the traditional practice for Ramadan, enshrined in the Sunna of Islam. Even in countries that do not naturally grow dates, Muslims in those countries keep the tradition with imported dates.

Eid Sa’id to all of you who observe the holiday! Enjoy your time with friends and family. 😊
