We are also reaching out to student orgs for this in-real-life conversation. We would like to focus our discussion around these central questions:



—how can we break out of the 24 hour news cycle, followed by apathy, and show sustained solidarity and support for people in need?



—how should we be thinking about community support versus bureaucratic support? What have recent disasters shown us about this relationship?
