[MES Forum] Performance on Veteran Experience by Kevin McClatchy

Dear MES Forum,

This is a special opportunity. Kevin McClatchy is a professor of Theatre here at OSU who does amazing work. From Kevin:

I wanted to let you and our colleagues in the Middle East Studies Center that I'm doing a residency at the Wexner Center for the Arts July 27-29 that focuses on military veterans' issues.  The residency includes two performances July 27-28 as well as a free workshop for veterans, military family members and active-duty service members on July 29th


July 27-28 I'll be performing my solo show Scrap Heap - about a Special Forces veteran navigating the transition from service to civilian - which is also free for all veterans, military family members and active-duty service members. The July 29 workshop is part of the Shakespeare & Veterans initiative, an ongoing collaborative partnership with the Columbus VA.



Each performance will be followed by a Community Conversation with guests from the veterans' community in Central Ohio.
