I will teach an undergraduate course in Chinese Literature and film
adaptation next semester. I am trying to decide the  literary work and
films to be included in the course. There seems to be  quite a few texts
and films from the 1980s and 1990s but few from other periods. I am
looking for Chinese literary works with English translation and adapted to
film from before the mid-1980s and in the 2000s. Any suggestions will be
welcome.
