Assistant Professor, Chinese / East Asian History

The Florida State University History Department is seeking a tenure-track
assistant professor in Modern China and/or East Asian history. The
successful candidate will contribute to strengths of the university
faculty in fields and programs including but not limited to gender
history, the history of science, religion, War and Society, and Asian
Studies. Candidates must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment and
demonstrate a strong commitment to publication as well as to undergraduate
and graduate teaching.

 
Review of applications will begin 15 November 2012. The department will
conduct preliminary interviews in January 2013 at the AHA Conference and
we expect to select applicants for the AHA interviews by early December.
Florida State University is designated a "Doctoral/Research
