Hi all,

In addition to Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, the following
schools/units also offer strong faculty and training in sociocultural
anthropology:

Xiamen University (http://anthro.xmu.edu.cn/shizililiang/zhuanrenjiaoshi/)
Central University of Nationalities (Wang Jianming, Nari Bilige, Pan Jiao,
Jia Zhongyi, etc.)
Beijing University (Gao Bingzhong, Wang Mingming, etc.)
Tsinghua University (Jing Jun, etc.)
Chinese Academy of Social Science (Liu Zheng'ai, etc.)
Beijing Normal University (Liu Tieliang, etc.)

This list is overly Beijing-centered, but many schools around China either
already have or are in the process of establishing programs in
sociocultural anthropology. Eastern China Normal University in Shanghai is
building a new program under the leadership of Nick Tapp.
