Hi Ellen,

You can enter handwritten entries by adding an extra keyboard in your
iPhone's settings (Settings > General > International > Keyboards > Add
New Keyboard... > Chinese (simplified/traditional) Handwriting).

You can change your keyboard by pressing (or holding, if you have more
than one keyboard) the 'globe' button on the left side of your keyboard.

Best,

Martin

Hi Ellen,

It looks like Pleco's handwriting module is only available as a paid
add-on on iOS:
http://www.pleco.com/ipmanual/addons.html
and it will also be a paid add-on on Android starting from Jan 1, 2013,
apparently. (I'm an Android user myself so I hadn't noticed this wasn't
free on iOS.)

However, there should also be a built-in Chinese handwriting system that
comes with your iPhone. You should be able to use that in Pleco as well.
Just configure it as you would configure any locale-specific IME in iOS,
so probably under Settings > General > International > Keyboards, and then
switch the locale when you want to use Chinese handwriting input (I think
the button to change the keyboard looks like a globe).

Cheers,

Daan
