Colleagues:

This has already been announced in a group email, but I just want to once
again encourage people in the neighborhood to attend the Creative
Conversation with Contemporary Chinese Poet Xi Chuan at the MLA (Friday,
January 6, 5:15 in the downtown Seattle Sheraton, Grand Ballroom B).

The event is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! And the MLA has given us a
cavernous ballroom that I fear we cannot fill. So, please come to
"pengchang" Xi Chuan. Thanks very much.
