MCLC LIST
From: mingwei song <msong2 at wellesley.edu>
Subject: science fiction sources
***********************************************************

The MCLC community might be interested in this list that includes most of
the recent media reports (in English) about Chinese Science Fiction and
English translations of a few new writings by the so-called New Wave
Sci-fi writers from China. The list is originally put together by Dr.
Zhang Feng, who was known in China's Sci-fi community by his i.d. SF. He
also edited a huge amount of materials on Chinese science fiction (in
Chinese).

The forthcoming special issue of Renditions 77/78 will feature Chinese
Science Fiction from both the late Qing and contemporary times. As the
guest editor of this special issue, I feel confident that my selection
showcases some of the best sci-fi works from China today.

Best,
Mingwei Song
