[Intl_DxMedPhys] Your "Use of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) radiology profiles"?

As an in house physicist, I have a little interaction with radIS, but I
never had heavy informatics duties.  The main things I partner with them on
is of course reading workstations, home reading workstations mainly, and
because we are switching our PACS vendor, fine tuning the final look and
display features.  RadIS here has a very large team and I often tell them
that I think they have one of the most stressful jobs in the hospital 😭.

That being said, a physicist in training definitely needs to learn DICOM
standards and all the terminology associated with informatics in order to
communicate properly with their IS department.  I haven’t read what
residents are required to learn now, but I feel as if my training in
residency (2014) was appropriate.
