Thanks.
FYI I recently reviewed draft CRCPD SSR’s, and, if the draft stands, the SSR’s will state that no protective apparel is necessary if at least 0.25 mm Pb equivalent shielding is between the source and the individual. It’ll probably be 10 years before it percolates to my state regulations.

Our facility recently evaluated Rampart and liked it better than EggNest. It does not have the added table weight issue, in that it uses the existing vendor mounts/rails, or so says the sales guy. The overall lead protection is slightly greater

They were also successful in getting our state to exempt the use of lead aprons in suites that use this system...kinda blew my mind when they showed me the letter.

I did a limited evaluation of it but was not a supporter due to the fact that its weight eats up a lot of the weight allowance for the patient pallet. I could see that being overlooked for a STEMI case. They should have designed it with some

I did a limited evaluation of it but was not a supporter due to the fact that its weight eats up a lot of the weight allowance for the patient pallet. I could see that being overlooked for a STEMI case. They should have designed it with some sort of support structure that was independent. Ken Fetterly at Mayo was going to do a clinical trial of several of these classes of devices including the Nest and maybe even publish the results the last I heard which was over 2 years ago. You should check in with him or Beth Schueler.
