Found an image of this unit on Google, manufactured in the 1930s (and maybe 1940s). Need Pinterest login (I don’t have one) to see the details.

It looks like a WWII era machine. That is a 1940's to early 1950's product On Tue, May 5, 2026, 8: 37 PM Bjarnason, Thor [IH] via Intl_dxmedphys_wd_osu_list <intl_dxmedphys_wd_osu_list@ lists. osu. edu> wrote: Hi All, Anyone by chance

Hi All,

Anyone by chance know the age of this x-ray machine? It is a GE.

There is a Operation and Maintenance manual beside the unit and I could only leaf through it briefly. That was for a “Model D3 Mobile Shockproof X-ray unit”. But that might not be this machine. There was also an old looking generator nearby (base in lower frame) with the cable cut and no tube in site.

I did a quick internet search but am on the road testing equipment this week so gave up pretty quickly.
