[Intl_DxMedPhys] ACR phantom weird images

I'm having difficulty with the slice thickness ramps on an ACR phantom scan on a Siemens Magnetom Lumina scanner. (3T) The following is an image of the slice thickness ramps with the window set as described in the scanning instructions on the ACR T2 sequence. What a mess!

This is what it looks like with normal windowing:

The ACR T1 series is messy, but not as bad. I tried turning filters on and off. Suspecting it might be due to excessive Gibbs ringing, I increased the bandwidth. No difference.


The site series look better, but they fail, and the T1 scan has those areas to the left and right of higher intensity:

Any ideas?
