Hi Nima. It really boils down to what your institutions policies dictate. But best practice dictates that the unit still meets manufacture requirements and QC tests. Ideally, there should also be a phantom use that also Independent of the manufacturer Calibration phantom to verify system stability. This should be scanned 10 times before the move and 10 times after to verify constancy. ISCD official positions have more details also

Not certain if the full scope of regular x-ray regs of Texas applies to DXAs as well or not. (I’m not sure I’m looking at the right TAC).
