[Intl_DxMedPhys] Five Medical Physics (Diagnostic Imaging) posts in HSE Mid-West Region, Ireland

Dear all,

A number of radiology related developments and equipment replacement programmes are currently in progress across the HSE Mid-West Region, Ireland. To support the projects and existing services in the Acute Hospitals, five permanent Medical Physicist (Diagnostic Radiology) posts are being advertised at Basic, Senior and Principal grades.

This is an exciting time for the Hospital Group and the Medical Physics Department with significant developments across many of the six Hospitals taking place over the past two years. Fourteen Radiology equipment related projects have been delivered during this time and the projects continue, including the imminent replacement of Interventional Radiology equipment at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), expansion of Radiology services at Ennis Hospital and construction of the new Surgical Hub which will operate as a satellite of UHL when opened.

These posts offer a great opportunity to work with a dedicated and friendly team in a large teaching hospital. The successful applicants will contribute to the provision of a high-quality medical physics services in the Region. The Department which has close links with the University of Limerick will also provide the successful applicants with opportunities to support and enhance current teaching commitments.
