Dear Colleagues,
I have two exciting opportunities to share with the list. The University of Colorado has two openings – one for faculty and one for a resident in our new Imaging Physics Residency program.
Faculty Position
We are looking for someone who is ABR certified or ABR eligible in diagnostic physics to join our team of diagnostic and nuclear medicine physicists. The academic faculty position is primarily clinical and will include coverage of diagnostic modalities and some NM work. The exact balance is flexible. This would be a great position for someone who is just graduating/recently graduated, but there are many opportunities for someone who is more experienced. Find out more about our team here<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://medschool.cuanschutz.edu/radiology/sections/radiological-sciences__;!!KGKeukY!yJkOn4B2rUFHwwl39IFgjx8hrxCF8UiDlA1GPcAjWaxxtirTJyGKHDqSEYXWyzUDKwT9o-j8fsEX3zo5GMHg0A5vPvnZt7dqhDjIRTPTSANw5Tc-QvgqAQ$ >. A few key points:
* Both MS and PhD medical physicists hold faculty positions within the University of Colorado School of Medicine
* There are ample teaching opportunities
* Research is not required but there are research opportunities
* We cover clinical diagnostic and NM medical physics services for University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Aurora, CO, and for other University of Colorado Health sites in the greater Denver metro area
Imaging Physics Residency Position
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Imaging Physics Residency Program. We are currently accepting applications through the MedPhys match site for a resident who will start July 2026. Our residency program is new, but our team of 8 diagnostic and nuclear medicine physicists has a long history of excellence in teaching. More information about the program can be found here<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://medschool.cuanschutz.edu/radiology/education/cu-imaging-physics-residency-program__;!!KGKeukY!yJkOn4B2rUFHwwl39IFgjx8hrxCF8UiDlA1GPcAjWaxxtirTJyGKHDqSEYXWyzUDKwT9o-j8fsEX3zo5GMHg0A5vPvnZt7dqhDjIRTPTSANw5TfT6qhlNA$ > or in our video<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yddyqTc0ag__;!!KGKeukY!yJkOn4B2rUFHwwl39IFgjx8hrxCF8UiDlA1GPcAjWaxxtirTJyGKHDqSEYXWyzUDKwT9o-j8fsEX3zo5GMHg0A5vPvnZt7dqhDjIRTPTSANw5TcaiNwRgA$ >.
Please reach out with any questions – Colorado is a great place to live. Our team works hard but realizes the importance of enjoying life outside of work as well.
Rebecca.
