I have a question about romanizing the Yiddish word חורבן

According to HCM2, “in contrast to the previous practice outlined by Hebraica Cataloging (Maher, 1987), which limited the usage of Uriel Weinreich’s Modern English-Yiddish Yiddish-English Dictionary (New York, 1968) principally to vowels, the current practice has been expanded to follow more closely the romanization in both that dictionary as well as Isidoro Niborski’s Ṿerṭerbukh fun Loshn-Ḳoydesh shṭamiḳe ṿerṭer (Paris, 2012) for most consonants, as well.”

Weinreich romanizes חורבן as khurbm and Niborski has כורבם as well, so should we be Romanizing it as hurbm (with dot below the h obviously)?

Thanks

Vanessa
