Colleagues,
While working on the Lexicon of Modern Hebrew Literature
<http://go.osu.edu/hebrewlit>, I stumbled across an Name Authority Record
that is based on information in the Encyclopaedia Judaica (1972 & 2007)
The EJ record has the birth and death dates totally wrong (1885-1929
instead 1854-1928)
Do we have an established procedure to fix the NAR? Should the creator of
the NAR fix it? Will LC do it? If I do it - what note should I put in to
explain the wrong information in EJ (that is supposed to be our first
choice of reference)?
