Just a side comment
'Malmad' is the name of the Israeli academic consortium. The Israeli union catalog (which was managed by Malmad until last January) should be cited as the Union List of Israel (or just ULI)
Last January responsibility for ULI was transferred from the Malmad Consortium to the National Library of Israel.

These are separate works.
a. because the works are of different genres [one of law and one of sermons encouraging its observance] and b. are quite often printed separately.
A search of Malmad indicates that the initial publication of the two works was separate, 633, and 636.

Dear group,
There are two separate NARS for what seem to be the same work:
n 85074372 - Israel Meir, ?c ha-Kohen, ?d 1838-1933. ?t Shemirat ha-lashon
nr 92004938 - Israel Meir, ?c ha-Kohen, ?d 1838-1933. ?t H?afets h?ayim
>From what I can tell these are actually different names for the same work. Earlier today I added a xref to n 85074372 from Israel Meir, ?c ha-Kohen, ?d 1838-1933. ?t H?afets h?ayim. ?p Shemirat ha-lashon.
I now think that this xref is incorrect.
My proposal is
a. to keep the n 85074372 as the existing NAR and make xrefs from:
1. Israel Meir, ?c ha-Kohen, ?d 1838-1933. ?t Shemirat ha-lashon
2. Israel Meir, ?c ha-Kohen, ?d 1838-1933. ?tSefer ha-musar ?al ?inyene shemirat ha-lashon
3. add the appropriate 670s
4. request BFM from LC and to delete n 85074372
Any thoughts from my colleagues will be greatly appreciated.
