Hello folks:

I've got a surname here that's romanized on the t.p. verso as "Kalian" but
is Hebraicized as קליאן. For thoser of you whose browsers aren't up to
snuff, that's kuf-lamed-yud-alef-nun sofit. I'd like to hear how others out
there in Heb-NACo land would romanize this. I've got a voice in my head
telling me that "Kalyan" is probably the way to go but "Kaliyan" and
Kali'an" are possibilities that I can't rule out.

For what it's worth, I think the name is Persian (but don't quote me).
