This is a reminder that Phase 3A of the RDA programmatic changes to the LC/NACO Authority File will begin on Monday, December 8, 2014 . 



The Library of Congress’ Cataloging Distribution Service issued an announcement about Phase 3A on December 1: 



Phase 3A of RDA Changes to Name Authority Records Begins 



The announcement contains details on the changes and has links to other information of interest to NACO authority file users. 



The Library of Congress’ Policy and Standards Division has also prepared a posting: 



Changes to Headings in the LC Catalog to Accommodate RDA 



Please also watch for any separate announcements that may be issued by your NACO utility on Phase 3A changes.
