on behalf of Spencer Scruggs:
I hope this finds everyone doing well. I currently serve as the Engagement Coordinator on the Coalition for (Dis)Ability with ACPA-College Student Educators International. We have a couple different engagement opportunities coming up, but one I wanted to share in particular. The coalition has drafted a couple faculty to dialogue on current research, important topics, and events that revolve around disability, ability, and higher education. Our first guest, Dr. Ryan Wells from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, will be joining the conversation on November 15th at Noon EST. You can join the conversation too by RSVPing. Information about the webinar can be found below. A recording of the webinar will be made and closed captioned for attendees and everyone who cannot join the conversation that day. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at spencerescruggs at gmail.com<mailto:spencerescruggs at gmail.com>. Best wishes.
Please register for Research Roundtable: Dr. Ryan Wells on Nov 15, 2017 12:00 PM EST at:

Join the Coalition for (Dis)Ability in our first Research Roundtable, as we invite Dr. Ryan Wells to discuss current topics and important research regarding disability, ability, and higher education. Dr. Wells currently is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Policy, Research, and Administration at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Wells investigates questions of college access, equity, and success for underrepresented and/or under-researched groups. Recent research includes the ways that socioeconomic status, disability, and geographic location are related to college success. Ryan is the author of a recent metasynthesis of literature related to disability in higher education. Come join us as we dialogue with Dr. Wells about some of his current research and important takeaways for Student Affairs practitioners.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
