Attached is the announcement for an NSEP Boren Scholarship information session<http://cllc.osu.edu/events/nsep-boren-scholarship-information-session> on Friday, September 23, 11:30-12:30 in 145 Hagerty Hall.  No reservation necessary.

Boren provides unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, which include Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Students can receive up to $20,000 for a one-year study abroad!

The OSU deadline for the NSEP Boren Scholarship is January 27, 2017, and the OSU Boren advisor for 2016-17 is Dr. Rebecca Bias (bias.3 at osu.edu<mailto:bias.3 at osu.edu>).

Please circulate this to interested students, and feel free to recommend exceptionally qualified students for us to contact.
