Hi everyone,

I'm a Latin/x American comics scholar who focuses on representations of
women and girls in said comics. I've also been exploring Latin/x American
comics as a form of transamerican artivism for the past couple years. I
live and teach in Iowa at a small liberal arts school and am currently the
First VP of the Comics Studies Society. Always happy to answer any
questions (as I'm sure are my colleagues) about what that work is like from
anyone who might be interested in running for a position on our board some
time in the future.

Best,
Brittany
